Description
Shirodhara oil is traditionally prepared Ayurvedic oil specially used for Shirodhara therapy and Shiroabhyangam (head massage). It is widely used by Panchakarma centres and Ayurvedic hospitals for Abhyangam therapy.

How to use Shirodhara Oil
For Shirodahara therapy- as per the classical reference or directed by the physician or therapist
For head massage – Take required quantity of Shirodhara oil in an iron or steel bowl. Heat it in a low flame to make it lukewarm. Apply by hand and massage gently in the scalp and hair roots.
Side effects of Shirodhara oil
No serious health issues reported.
Precautions
Avoid contact with face and eyes.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse the eyes thoroughly with water and put pure rose water drops in the eyes. If any symptoms persist, please contact a physician.
